Specialist Provision

As a special school Dove House has developed the facilities and teaching expertise to meet the special needs of it’s pupils.

Alongside the National Curriculum for the secondary phase, apart from a modern foreign language, we offer expertise in ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder, PALS (Pupils’ Additional Literacy Support), OT (Occupational Therapy) and SaLT (Speech and Language Therapy) and also offer a comprehensive life skills course which is designed to give each pupil the necessary skills for independent living when they leave school.
