A visit to Pennybridge Alpaca Farm

On Wednesday 29th June, twelve pupils from across the school visited Pennybridge Alpaca Farm in Hook. The pupils learnt so much about alpacas from their keepers and were able to feed the alpacas and put on their halters ready for the highlight of the trip …. the walk! Each pupil had a turn at leading an alpaca on the wooded walk. All the alpacas had different characters and some wanted to walk faster than others! The pupils had a wonderful day and finished the outing with a picnic before returning back to school.
