PE Teacher

The PE department are a highly cohesive team and our vision for students to engage in a wide range of sports and physical activities will inspire them to lead healthy, active lives after they leave Dove House. Through extra-curricular activities, students will develop their social, communication and independence skills, resulting in them being confident, resilient and independent young people who are prepared for adulthood.

We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • A hardworking and dedicated teacher that strives for the best outcomes for all learners
  • Skilled in either Primary or Secondary teaching
  • Looking for the freedom to plan and deliver lessons in the way they know will benefit the students
  • Willing to deliver high quality extra-curricular opportunities
  • Looking to work in a supportive, forward-thinking and welcoming team.

The successful candidate will have / will be willing to undertake the following qualifications:

  • First Aid (including administering medication)
  • Fitness Instructor
  • MIDAS Minibus
  • Outdoor Leaders
  • Trampolining
